Shipping Solutions Export Software Versions 9.11 and 8.11 Now Available

Shipping Solutions export software is pleased to announce the release of Professional version 9.11 and Classic version 8.11. If you are an active Annual Maintenance Program (AMP) subscriber, you can download the update from the AMP website.
The new versions include the following enhancements and fixes.
AESDirect Enhancements
Shipping Solutions now provides a way to store your user name and password for the ACE Portal, so that you don’t have to type it in every time you want to do an AESDirect submission. You can store your user name and password on the Admin tab, Profiles Settings screen.
Once you have successfully submitted your Electronic Export Information (EEI) to AESDirect, it is important to copy your ITN number back to Shipping Solutions so that the ITN number appears on the appropriate export documents. A Get ITN button has been added to the EZ Start tab, AES screen so that you can easily get the ITN number into Shipping Solutions without having to copy and paste.
New Ocean Bills of Lading
We have expanded the options for creating Ocean Bills of Lading. We still have the one we’ve always had, although it is now renamed Ocean Bill of Lading-Rated. We have added an Ocean Bill of Lading-Unrated, which does not include any freight charges. And, we’ve added an Ocean Bill of Lading-Master.
New Air Waybill
We’ve added an Air Waybill-Master in addition to our current Air Waybill. Both can be printed as completed forms or as data only.
New Destination Control Statement
As you may know, a new destination control statement that can be used for both EAR-and ITAR-controlled products should be used starting November 15, 2016. This new statement has been added to the Phrase Database in Shipping Solutions.
Packing List Fixes
There were a few issues with the Packing List that have now been fixed. First, the calculation of pounds to kilograms was corrected. A problem with duplex printing even when not selected was fixed. You can now manually enter the Total Cubic Feet and Total Cubic Meters, and the Package Description field was expanded back to the larger size that it was in previous versions.
Parcel Shipping Enhancement
The Parcel Shipping feature now sends your Invoice Number and PO Number with the other data transferred from Shipping Solutions to UPS WorldShip.
